H.E. JAYANT KHOBRAGADE

A multifaceted artist - painter, photographer, and lover of music.

For Jayant diplomacy is a profession, music is passion and painting is just a way of life. He has been painting since a very young age and enjoys a mastery over a variety of mediums. Throughout his career as a seasoned diplomat. Jayant has maintained and nourished his artistic career too, gathering viewpoints and inspirations as a globetrotter and exhibiting to appreciative audiences in international galleries worldwide. His oeuvre spans haunting figuratives and emotive landscapes. His work is in prestigious collections in India and abroad.

He is currently the Ambassador of India to ASEAN, based in Jakarta Indonesia. He has been Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic and member of the Indian Foreign Service for almost three decades. Served in Indian Embassies abroad in Moscow, Almaty, Madrid, and Bishkek. Since 1993, he held 11 major solo exhibitions in Spain, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, including at Lalit Kala Academy, India.
